Volume and file sharing makes working with other people easier and reduces storage costs for family, friends, and team members
Volume and file sharing is only allowed for users who are paying for a volume, there are no sharing features for the free volume you are given with your account
In your volume settings you can see who your volume is shared with along with the option to share it using the "Share Volume" button
Once you click "Share Volume" you will be asked to enter the email address of the person you would like to share the volume with. This person must have an Epokingine Cloud account registered with that email address, once you submit the request that person will be given a link to join the volume
Until we allow file permissions everyone a volume is shared with has the ability to view, download, and edit all files
If you are the owner of a volume you are able to remove anyone who you have shared it with, in volume settings under "Shared With" there is a button beside each name labled "Remove User". When a user is removed it happens immediatley and they are given no notice of it.
If you are not the owner of a volume you are able to remove yourself by clicking "Remove User" beside your name, however you will loose access to all files in the volume immediatley.
For every volume you own you will be able to share 5 files at a time. To view how many files you are able to share at once go to your Account Settings.
Beside every listed file in your volume there is a button labeled "Share File", you will be prompted to request a link to share the file. These links can be accessed by anyone even if they do not have an Epokingine Cloud account.
Currently file share links are only valid for 7 days and can only be accessed once after downloading, once the link is no longer valid your "share file count" will be reset.
